Bitesize Training course - What is fund accounting?
We have received a number of
enquiries about 'What is fund accounting? 'We have been
told we have to record our church/charity accounts this
way but dont know what it is.' Although there is information
and documents explaining this subject, we felt that it
would be helpful to offer a simple and short
course covering fund accounting.
We have therefore designed a two-hour
bitesize course which answers the following questions:
-
Why
do churches/charities have to record accounts?
-
What
is double entry bookkeeping - the basics
-
Why
do I need so many income and expenditure codes?
-
Why
can't I use a normal double entry bookkeeping system?
-
What
are funds
-
Do
I have to use funds?
Delivered in a relaxed and friendly
atmosphere groups are limited to a maximum of 30 to ensure
that questions can be easily asked and answered. Refreshments
are provided and you can make as many notes as you wish.
